Post 22: I'm home!

So, I’m home!

Massively earlier than I had been told to expect, but the doctors discharged me yesterday afternoon as both the surgery and recovery have both gone really well; I’m by no means ‘fixed’, but am able to be at home to continue healing.

The physio team have given me a list of actions and movements to work on, which is aimed at improving my range of movement, as well as general strength in my arm and chest.

I’m going to need to go back to the hospital in Birmingham soon for check-ups but for now, am enjoying being back home.
